PREDA Galway has just launched the PREDA 2010 calendar. It costs just 5 Euro with all profits going directly to help the children being rescued at PREDA. Russell Barnes, PREDA Galway photographer, has created a thought provoking and inspiring calendar full of positive images about how we can all help to improve the lives of others through our support.
We received great support from Fr. Shay Cullen and the team at PREDA, musicians Damien Dempsey & Sharon Shannon, Sportsmen Jerry Flannery, Shane Long, Kevin Doyle, Ollie Canning, Mervue United, and Actors Martin Sheen & James Cromwell.
Damien Dempsey is performing a solo show with all profits going to PREDA in the Radisson in Galway on the 3rd of December 2009. Tickets are currently on sale for 25 Euro (limited number of 20 Euro student tickets available) from the Radisson and they can be contacted on 091 538 300 or in Zhivago records on 091 509 950.

His PREDA concert in Galway on February 28th 2008 helped launch PREDA Galway Support Group and over 12,000 Euro. Galway Hurling Captain and current All- Star, Ollie Canning is supportind both PREDA initiatives and said, " Damien is known for his passion and commitment to justice. Why not come along to the concert and have a great night out..which will ultimately make a differnce to you and others".
Damien is very excited about the upcoming concert and has promised a night of music and stories guaranteed to entertain believing that the concert on December the 3rd should be every bit as memorable as his Preda concert in 2008. He is determined to continue to support Preda in their fight to end child slavery in all its forms.
