CONGRATULATIONS DAMO!

At the 2009 Meteor Awards held on March 17th in Dublin, Damien won an award for Best Irish Trad/Folk. This brings Damien's Meteor Awards total to six.

In 2004 he was nominated in 4 categories and won two of them. He was the only double winner that year.

In 2006 Damien won Best Irish Male and in 2007 won the same award.

He was nominated in two categories in the 2008 Awards and won Best Irish Trad/Folk.
